PROJECT COORDINATOR (C&S) (based in Kuching)

Qualification and Job Requirements:
Possess a recognized Degree in Civil Engineering.
Registered as a Graduate Engineer or Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia.
At least 10 years’ work experience, of which 5 years in construction supervision, contract administration and 5 years in office design or coordination works.
Experience in building and water supply work projects.
Knowledge of contract administration of construction projects based on JKR Sarawak Form of Contract (PWD 75) and Government of Malaysia Standard Form of Contract (PWD 203), and standard construction specifications.
Liaise and coordinate with Client, Consultants Team and Contractors and others to resolve technical, design and construction issues.
Oversee and liaise with Resident Engineers and IOWs and ensure that design and construction works are carried out according to contractual requirements.
Highly analytical, confident and excellent report writing skills with interpersonal skills.
Motivated, self-driven and willing to work under pressure within tight datelines.
To be based at Kuching head office and willing to travel to attend site meetings and resolve site issues.
