DESIGN ENGINEER & ASSISTANT DESIGN ENGINEER
Join our marine design team and contribute to ship design and engineering projects for the shipbuilding, shipping, and oil & gas industries.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES | DESIGN ENGINEER
Prepare basic ship designs, hull-form models, intact and damage stability calculations, and statutory calculations.
Carry out or support CFD, FEA, and other marine or structural engineering analyses.
Provide technical solutions relating to naval architecture and marine engineering works.
Liaise with shipyards, vendors, shipowners, flag administrations, and classification societies on engineering matters.
Attend site meetings and inspections, provide technical support, and assist with project coordination and management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES | ASSISTANT DESIGN ENGINEER
Prepare and revise 2D drawings, 3D models, engineering calculations, and technical documentation under guidance.
Assist with site surveys, measurements, inspections, and report preparation.
Coordinate design information with engineers, clients, shipyards, vendors, and classification societies.
Ensure assigned work meets project requirements, quality standards, and company procedures.
Perform other project-related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline.
Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD 2D/3D and Rhinoceros.
Knowledge of marine or structural analysis software is an added advantage.
Two years of relevant experience is preferred; however, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Good communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
