ACCOUNT ASSISTANT

Key Responsibilities
Accurately record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), into the accounting system.
Petty Cash Management
Support senior staff with ad-hoc financial reporting and assist in tracking project-specific costs for management review.
Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time to ensure the smooth operation of the finance department.
Maintain a systematic and organized filing system for all financial documents, including invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and bank statements, to ensure easy retrieval and audit readiness.
Requirements
Education: LCCI, Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of working experience in accounting, finance, or an administrative role (experience in construction or engineering is a plus).
Knowledgeable of:
o e-Invoice implementation and compliance
o SST (Sales & Service Tax)
Proficiency in accounting software (AutoCount)
Hardworking, responsible, and able to meet deadlines independently
Language & Communication
Fluent in Mandarin (spoken & written)
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
