ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR

ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR 
Salary Range: RM 3000 - RM 5000
Kuching, Sarawak.

Primary Objective:
Assist Senior Quantity Surveyor in pre-contract and post contract duties in the process of project initial, plan, execute, monitor and control, project closure of assigned project.
Responsibilities: 
Assist in tendering process including sourcing of materials and sub-contractors, preparation of Bills of Quantities and pricing. 
Assist in monthly interim claims including carry out site valuation, site measurement, follow-up on issuance of Payment Certificates from consultants/main-contractor and follow up on payment status.
Evaluate sub-contractors payment claims, variation orders to ensure work done being paid accordingly.
Assist in Variation Orders preparation including checking on drawings, site measurement and preparation of Bills of Quantities.
Assist in purchasing of materials and keep track on purchasing status.
Attend to all other duties as directed from time to time by the Assist Senior Quantity Surveyor and/or Project Manager.
Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent
Fresh graduate is encourage to apply.
Knowledge of Glodon software is an added advantage.
Candidate must be fluent in English, Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin and other dialects optional.
