VIDEO EDITOR CUM CONTENT CREATOR - Kuching, Kota Samarahan
We are looking for a skilled Video Editor with strong creative and marketing sense to join our team. Important: 
This is a Video Editor position. Applicants must already possess video editing skills and be able to demonstrate their 
work through a portfolio or video samples. You will also be involved in content production, including content planning, 
video shooting, creative development and producing engaging social media content for clients across different 
industries.
JOB SCOPE
Video Editing – Core Responsibility
Edit raw footage into professional and engaging videos for social media, marketing campaigns and client projects.
Apply proper storytelling, pacing, sequencing, captions, audio, music, transitions, graphics and visual   enhancements.
Adapt videos for different platforms and formats, including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts   and Xiaohongshu (RED).
Maintain video quality and ensure the final content meets the project's marketing objectives and brand direction.
Content Production
Participate in the full content production process — from idea development and planning to shooting, editing   and final delivery.
Brainstorm creative video concepts based on client objectives, target audiences, social media trends and   marketing opportunities.
Conduct indoor and outdoor video shoots for client activities, events, campaigns, products and services.
Understand how to capture suitable footage, angles and sequences needed for effective video editing.
Work with the marketing team to develop content that attracts attention, increases engagement, grows social   media audiences and strengthens brand awareness.

REQUIREMENTS
Video editing skills are compulsory.
Applicants must be able to provide a portfolio, showreel or video samples demonstrating their editing ability.
Good understanding of video storytelling, pacing, composition, audio and visual presentation.
Proficient in relevant video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro,   CapCut Desktop or equivalent.
Knowledge of videography and content production
Strong creative thinking and marketing sense, able to understand what captures audience attention and makes   content engaging.
Able to work independently and contribute creative ideas.
Owns personal transport and is willing to travel for client shoots when required.
Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin or other languages will be an added advantage.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Fresh graduates with existing video editing skills and a portfolio are welcome.
Candidates with professional video editing or production experience are encouraged to apply.
Relevant internship applicants with demonstrated editing skills may also be considered.
No working experience is acceptable for fresh graduates, but applicants must already possess practical video   editing skills. This is not a position for candidates starting video editing from zero.
SALARY  Basic Salary + Performance Incentives  EPF, SOCSO & EIS (Full-Time)
