SENIOR EXECUTIVE – IT SUPPORT

SENIOR EXECUTIVE – IT SUPPORT - Kuching
Responsibilities:
Provide first-level support and maintenance services for clients (hardware & software) both onsite and remotely.   Ensure that support tickets are handled based on priorities and agreed SLAs, delivering effective and appropriate   support
Offer End User Computing support, including provisioning, asset management, monitoring, implementation,   troubleshooting, and support for end-user computing operations and related infrastructure
Reduce end-user incidents through root cause analysis and comprehensive quality assurance
Collaborate with vendors, telecom providers, and other departments to expedite issue diagnosis and resolution
Develop knowledge and expertise to support new features and functions deployed by infrastructure teams,  such as O365, cloud delivery, and network security enhancements. This includes antivirus deployment,   management, and mitigation
Contribute to the implementation and rollout of standardisation, processes, and policies across the group
Requirements: 
Bachelor's Degree in IT or a related technical certification in IT or End User Computing
Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for a user-facing IT support role
Ability to work independently with general direction, keeping management informed of relevant issues
Experience with Microsoft products, including the O365 platform, cloud technologies, and hybrid on-premise   hardware support
Excellent analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving
Self-starter who is proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn and grow within the organisation
Preferably experienced in information technology, security or communication technology
Technical Knowledge & System Administration:
Experience in supporting three or more of the following technologies:
Microsoft Office 365
Microsoft Windows 10 Professional and Microsoft Windows 11 Professional
Windows Server Administration (Basic or Intermediate)
Client end-user device troubleshooting
Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals on Windows platforms
Troubleshooting networking and connection issues
Basic network operations and deployments (Cisco/Aruba/Checkpoint/Fortinet) are a plus
