Academic qualification
Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education 
Diploma in Preschool Education, Child Development or a related field 
KAP certificate completed 
First-aid and CPR certification

Teaching experience
At least two years of preschool or TASKA teaching experience 
Experience teaching children between approximately one and four years old 
Experience preparing weekly and monthly lesson plans 
Experience managing a classroom independently 
Experience observing and documenting children’s development 
Experience communicating with parents professionally

Teaching abilities
Language - Stories, songs, vocabulary, phonics readiness and conversation
Early mathematics - Counting, matching, sorting, shapes, colours and patterns
Physical development - Fine-motor and gross-motor activities
Social development - Sharing, taking turns, teamwork and classroom routines
Emotional development - Helping children recognise and manage emotions
Creative learning - Art, music, movement, sensory and pretend play
Life skills - Eating, toileting, handwashing, dressing and independence
Curriculum responsibilities
Prepare separate learning goals for different age group.
Design monthly themes 
Prepare weekly lesson plans 
Create suitable activities using simple materials 
Guide other teachers in conducting lessons 
Check whether lessons are properly completed 
Observe children’s progress 
Prepare progress reports for parents 
Improve activities when children are not participating 
Balance structured learning with play, care and rest
