ACCOUNT & ADMIN OFFICER - Kuching
Job scopes
Assist the Accounts and Admin department with data entry and accurate recording of financial transactions
Perform daily administrative and clerical duties in a timely and efficient manner
Prepare invoices, quotations, payment vouchers, and other official documents
Maintain proper filing and ensure all company records and documents are well organized
Liaise and communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, government authorities and internal departments
Update, record, and monitor stock inventory accurately
Maintain proper documentation of stock movements and inventory records
Conduct periodic stock counts and assist in inventory control and reconciliation
Assist in the application, renewal and maintenance of company licenses, permits and certifications, including Halal certification
Handle a full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation and month-end closing
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, audit schedules and supporting documents when required
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant statutory requirements
Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by management from time to time
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
Knowledge in full set of accounts is an added advantage.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Able to communicate in BM, English, Iban, or Chinese.
