STOREKEEPER CUM INVENTORY ASSISTANT
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records.
Conduct regular stock checks and audits.
Monitor stock levels and place orders as required to replenish supplies.
Prepare reports on inventory usage, shortages, or overstock situations as required by management.
Monitor expiration dates of products and manage stock rotation to minimise waste.
Assist in the preparation of requisition and purchase orders based on inventory needs.
Record and update all stock receipts and stock issues accurately in the inventory management system.
Receiving and Storing Goods:
Inspect deliveries for quantity and quality.
Properly label and store items in designated areas.
Ensure proper storage conditions for perishable good.
Order Fulfillment:
Prepare and deliver stock to various F&B outlets within the establishment.
Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of goods.
Monthly Stock Take:
Conduct comprehensive monthly stock takes.
Reconcile physical counts with inventory records.
Report any discrepancies and adjust records accordingly.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organised storage area.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards.
In-charge of Halal policy and compliance (Halal Certificate)
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain documentation of inventory movements.
Generate reports on stock status and inventory levels.
Coordination:
Collaborate with suppliers, purchasing department, and F&B staff.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations of F & B Department.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Skills:
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in inventory management software.
Excellent communication skills.
Education:
Diploma or equivalent.
Additional certifications in inventory management or logistics and/or food safety are advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move heavy items.
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced F&B environment.
Strictly adhered to health and safety regulations and in compliance with guidelines set forth by local
and relevant agencies.
Knowledge in Halal policy, compliance, practice and procedure.
