QUANTITY SURVEYOR ASSISTANT

QUANTITY SURVEYOR ASSISTANT  - HQ Office, 3rd Mile , Kuching
Requirements :
Candidate must possess at least a Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying
Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in the quantity surveying field is preferred.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Familiar with taking-off quantities, reading and analysing construction drawings.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills.
Able to complete and submit assigned tasks within the required deadline.
Responsible, willing to learn, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Good communication and follow-up skills.

Job Requirements :
Assist Quantity Surveyor in taking-off quantities from construction drawings or tender drawings
Assist in preparing measurement sheets, quantity calculations, and cost comparison.
Conduct monthly site assessment / site measurement for subcontractor work progress.
Assist in preparing subcontractor payment claims and progress claims.
Follow up with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations, pricing, and related documents.
Assist in checking subcontractor claims, variation orders, costing, and supporting documents.
Maintain proper filing and documentation for subcontractor claims, variation orders, costing records, 
    quotations, and project-related documents.
Assist in preparing and updating project cost records when required.
Perform other QS-related tasks as assigned from time to time.
