SAFETY AND HEALTH ASSISTANT - Samalaju, Bintulu
Qualification:
Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH)
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing workplace safety and health policies and procedures
Support safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification activities
Help investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and documentation
Assist in maintaining safety records, permits, and compliance documentation
Support safety training sessions, orientations, and toolbox talks
Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices
Help ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations
Assist in emergency preparedness and response activities
Communicate safety information to employees and contractors
Perform other safety-related duties as assigned involve site inspections, walking, standing, and occasional lifting
Exposure to industrial or construction environments depending on the workplace
Assist SHO and SSS for daily routine work
