ADMIN & PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE / LEAD - Kuching
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of working experience in the construction industry is an advantage.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.
Mandarin-speaking ability is an added advantage.)
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Familiar with cloud-based file management systems.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality in handling company matters.
Knowledge of construction-related administrative processes, including CIDB, UPKJ, permits, and tender documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Answer and direct incoming phone calls according to company procedures.
Handle daily administrative duties, including preparation of quotations, purchase orders, correspondence, and other documentation.
Coordinate closely with the Finance Department on administrative and purchasing matters.
Manage and monitor CIDB, UPKJ registrations, permit applications, and related compliance requirements.
Assist in the preparation, compilation, and submission of tender documents.
Support procurement activities, including sourcing materials and obtaining quotations from suppliers.
Maintain accurate records and filing systems, both physical and digital.
Coordinate office operations to ensure smooth workflow and efficient task completion.
Prioritize and manage multiple assignments within deadlines.
Provide general administrative support to management and project teams.
Preferred Skills
Experience in construction administration and project documentation.
Familiarity with procurement procedures and supplier management.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, contractors, and government agencies.
