QUANTITY SURVEYOR (PROTÉGÉ) - Kuching (HQ)
Job Description
Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, tender documents and Bills of Quantities (BQ) for   construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
Support the monitoring and control of project budgets, expenditures and cash flow to ensure   projects are completed within the approved cost framework.
Assist in the evaluation, comparison and analysis of contractor, subcontractor and supplier   quotations to ensure competitive pricing and value for money.
Assist in the preparation of cost reports, financial forecasts and project cost analyses for   management review and decision making.
Support contract administration activities including maintaining contract records, reviewing   contractual documents and ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Conduct site measurements, quantity take offs and verification of completed works to support   project valuations and cost assessments.
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, suppliers and relevant stakeholders   to ensure smooth project execution and effective communication.
Assist in identifying potential cost risks and recommending cost effective solutions to improve   project performance and profitability.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor or   management from time to time.
Job Requirement
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Basic knowledge of construction contracts, costing, and tendering processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Good analytical, communication and teamwork skills.
Willing to learn and work in a construction project environment.
