RETAIL STORE SUPERVISOR

RETAIL STORE SUPERVISOR - Kuching
We are looking for a responsible, motivated, and detail-oriented Retail Store Supervisor to manage our daily retail and stockist operations. The successful candidate will lead a small on-site team, oversee inventory accuracy, handle delivery logistics, and ensure an exceptional customer service environment. This role requires an organized individual who can work independently and support smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail storefront and warehouse inventory area.
Team Leadership: Lead, train, and schedule retail assistants and cashiers to maintain high productivity and excellent customer service.
Stock & Inventory Control: Manage incoming shipments, verify stock accuracy, conduct regular stock takes, and prevent inventory discrepancies.
Logistics & Deliveries: Coordinate with customers, and courier services to ensure smooth, accurate, and timely delivery fulfillment.
Sales Documentation: Handle sales orders, manage customer inquiries, and ensure all transaction records are accurately filed.
Reporting: Work closely with the Operations Manager to report stock levels, sales updates, and ground-level operational challenges.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Minimum Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Degree in Business, Management, Retail, or at least 3 years of work experience in similar field.
Experience: At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in retail management, stockist systems, or warehouse supervision.
Skills: Strong leadership, excellent interpersonal communication, and effective problem-solving skills.
Technical Literacy: Proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel) and comfortable adapting to internal inventory or billing software.
Languages: Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (the ability to speak Mandarin or local Sarawakian dialects is an added advantage).
Attributes: Highly organized, responsible, and capable of working independently under minimal supervision.
Logistics: Possess own transport and a valid driving license.
