
PROJECT ENGINEER - Kuching
Qualification & Requirement:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role within construction projects, preferably hospital or healthcare facilities.
Experience in construction project coordination, site supervision, and technical documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel.
Strong technical understanding of construction methods, drawings, and project specifications.
High attention to detail and accuracy in managing and reviewing engineering documents and site reports.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
Main Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordination, and execution of hospital construction projects.
Monitor and supervise site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
Review construction drawings, technical submissions, and method statements for accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Track project progress and prepare regular site reports, progress updates, and documentation.
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with hospital standards, regulatory requirements, and quality control procedures.
Identify and resolve site issues in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Maintain proper project documentation, including drawings, site records, and correspondence.
Attend site meetings and assist in project coordination discussions.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager or management from time to time.
