
PROJECT PLANNER - Kuching, Sarawak
Job Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive, resource-loaded project schedules using Primavera P6, establishing baselines in compliance with contract requirements;
Track daily/weekly/monthly project progress against the baseline, identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions to prevent slippage;
Coordinate with project managers, engineers and site teams to align tasks, schedules and resources;
Identify potential risks and cost overruns; develop proactive mitigation and contingency plans;
Analyze schedule variance and develop recovery or catch-up schedules when necessary;
Optimize resource allocation (manpower, equipment, materials) to ensure efficient project execution;
Produce detailed, accurate weekly and monthly performance reports for management.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent;
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience, experience in infrastructure projects is an added advantage;
Strong hands-on proficiency in Primavera P6;
Solid understanding of contract administration and progress reporting methodologies;
Excellent in organizational, planning and time management skills;
Good report writing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
