ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - Bintulu
Job description:
Supervise and monitor electrical installation works to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings,   and industry standards.
Review and verify electrical technical documents, including drawings, material submissions, load calculations,   and method statements.
Analyse and troubleshoot electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
Conduct site inspections, testing and commissioning for electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting,   earthing, cable routing, and low-voltage systems.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, authorities, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical   issues and ensure smooth site progress.
Ensure all electrical works comply with safety requirements, statutory regulations, and project QA/QC   procedures.
Prepare and maintain technical reports and electrical documentation, including test results, inspection   records, and as-built drawings.
Provide technical support to site teams and assist in troubleshooting electrical system issues.
Monitor work progress and ensure electrical works meet the project schedule and quality expectations.
Good command of English and Mandarin. Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
At least 1 year of experience as an Electrical Engineer
Proficient in the design and analysis of electrical systems, including power distribution, control   systems, and automation
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Familiarity with relevant safety and regulatory standards
Proficient in the use of engineering software and tools
