PROCUREMENT ASSISTANT - Kuching
Requirement:
SPM, Certificates, or Diploma in Business Administration,
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Minimum 1 or 2 years working experience knowledge of procurement processes
Good communication and coordination skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Detail-oriented, organized, and responsible
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities:
Source suppliers and obtain quotations for goods and services
Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO)
Follow up with suppliers on delivery status and lead times
Ensure purchases comply with company policies and approved budgets
Maintain proper records of procurement documents, including quotations, POs, DOs, invoices, and relevant customs declarations
Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments on purchasing and delivery matters
Verify deliveries and invoices against approved POs
Assist in basic price comparison and supplier evaluation
Monitor stock levels and assist in identifying reorder points to support inventory control
Perform other related duties as assigned
