PROJECT MANAGER – Kuching
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage building construction projects from planning to completion.
Monitor project schedules, site progress, quality, safety, and overall performance.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
Resolve technical, operational, and project-related issues proactively.
Manage project teams, budgets, variation orders, progress claims, and contractual matters.
Conduct site inspections and progress meetings to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and regulations.
Prepare project reports, documentation, and project correspondence.
Support management in project planning, procurement, and construction management initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in building construction or property development.
Experience in high-rise, commercial, mixed-development, or landed projects is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, contract administration, and site management.
Good leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Familiar with local authority requirements, statutory regulations, and construction safety standards.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and relevant project management software.
Able to work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
