ARCHITECT

ARCHITECT – Kuching
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate architectural activities across all project stages, from conceptual design through to   completion.
Work closely with consultants and internal teams to develop, refine, and deliver well-coordinated design   solutions, including project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Proactively identify, review, and resolve design discrepancies during early design development and throughout   construction phases.
Ensure all design outputs comply with applicable building codes, local authority requirements, and safety   standards, while upholding design intent and quality.
Facilitate effective coordination between Architectural, Mechanical & Electrical, and Civil & Structural   disciplines.
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, with a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience in high-rise   residential and/or commercial developments.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
Confidence in managing consultants and project teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English, in an office environment and on-site.
Strong technical understanding of construction methodologies, detailing, and building materials.
Solid experience in coordinating M&E and C&S consultant inputs within complex building projects.
Sound knowledge of building codes, planning regulations, and statutory approval processes.
Excellent technical drawing ability with strong design sensibility.
Highly proactive, accountable, and able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
