AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN (Kuching)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician with a strong technical background to join our team. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with high technical competency.

Key responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on vehicles efficiently and accurately.
Conduct preventive maintenance services including engine, transmission, suspension, brake, steering, and electrical systems.
Utilize diagnostic tools and technical equipment to identify mechanical and electrical faults.
Inspect vehicles and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
Carry out repair and replacement of vehicle components according to manufacturer standards.
Ensure all repair work meets safety and quality standards.
Prepare service reports and maintain accurate job records.
Test drive vehicles before and after repairs when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of workshop tools and equipment.
Support team members and provide technical guidance when required.

Requirements

Minimum Certificate/Diploma in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic.
Solid technical knowledge in vehicle diagnostics, electrical systems, engine repair, and troubleshooting.
Experience handling diagnostic scanners and workshop equipment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Possess valid driving license.

Experience with UTV/ATV Jet Ski repairs
Possess valid GDI license
Certified by manufacturer training programs
