
PURCHASING ASSISTANT (Kuching, Sarawak)
Job Responsibilities
Sourcing and evaluating potential suppliers to ensure the best quality, pricing, and delivery terms for materials and services
Negotiating favorable terms and prices with suppliers, including cost, delivery timelines, and payment terms.
Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and overstocking
Tracking and expediting the delivery of materials and equipment to ensure timely arrival at the construction site.
Maintaining accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier information.
Job Requirements
Experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the construction industry.
Familiarity with Excel & AutoCount system.
Knowledge of construction methods and materials
Able to communicate in Mandarin
SPM, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
