WORKSHOP MANAGER - Sri Aman, Sarawak
The Jobs:
Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of skilled Toyota technicians, providing guidance, coaching, supervision, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
Service Scheduling: Efficiently schedule repair and maintenance services to optimize workshop productivity while meeting customer needs and deadlines.
Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all work meets Toyota's standards and customer expectations.
Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels for parts and supplies, ensuring availability for scheduled services. Monitor and control parts costs to maintain profitability.
Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe and compliant working environment by adhering to all relevant safety standards and regulations. Maintain documentation related to safety protocols and compliance.
Budget and Cost Control: Monitor and control workshop expenses to meet budgetary targets while maintaining service quality. Provide input for financial reports and budget planning.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance workshop efficiency. Stay updated on the latest Toyota service and repair techniques.
The Person:
Degree in any discipline with preference in automotive or related field. Toyota certification is a plus.
At least 3 years experience managing a service center.
Able to converse and write in Bahasa Melayu and English.
Strong leadership and management skills with a proven track record of team development.
Preference for candidates with excellent technical knowledge of Toyota vehicles and use of diagnostic equipment.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Proficient in workshop management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of safety standards and compliance regulations.
Budget management and cost control experience.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Possess valid Malaysian driving license (Class D).
