PROJECT PLANNER

PROJECT PLANNER - Kuching, Sarawak 
Job Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain and update detailed project timelines, task sequences and milestones using Primavera P6 software;
Establish baseline, recovery and revised programmes in line with contract requirements;
Estimate and allocate labour, equipment and materials; ensuring adequate staffing for each phase;
Implement the work schedule and monitor progress of the works in accordance to the schedule and produce tracking charts in daily/weekly/monthly reports;
Carry out delay tracking and assessments of extensions of time and the associated schedule impacts against the baseline;
Identify, propose and develop mitigation plans and recovery schedules;
Coordinate closely with Project Manager, Engineers and site team to ensure alignment with project timelines;
Update and prepare weekly and monthly reports for management.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent;
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience as a Project Planner, experience in infrastructure projects is an added advantage; 
Strong hands-on experience in Primavera P6 is mandatory;
Familiarity with contract administration and progress reporting;
Excellent in organizational, planning and time management skills;
Possess good communication and report writing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
