SENIOR CIVIL & STRUCTURE DESIGN ENGINEER

SENIOR CIVIL & STRUCTURE DESIGN ENGINEER   (Full time position)
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Principal Engineer, you will be accountable for undertaking basic calculations of design work and activities on site for a variety of civil engineering projects.
Preparation of calculations, written reports, engineering sketches and checking of drawings
Able to read & understand technical drawing and translate to concept
Able to prepare minor drafting of civil/structural engineering drawing by using Autocad
Design calculations and drawings review done by other engineers
Any other duties as assigned by the management.
Able to work independently as well as in a team.
Effectively manage time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently.
Being proactive and taking prompt action to accomplish objectives and achieve goals beyond what is required

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering recognized by Board of Engineers Malaysia
Familiar with local and international design codes and standard such as Euro Codes, British standards & etc
Familiar with the design tools, software packages (structural and geotechnical analysis software) and technology
Enthusiastic and willing to work in a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-pace environment
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Minimum 3 years of design experience.
