QUANTITY SURVEYOR

QUANTITY SURVEYOR - Kuching, Sarawak
Qualification
Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction, Interior Design or related field
Basic ability to read simple drawings / floor plans
Experience
1–3 years working experience in QS, costing, furniture, interior or construction field
Fresh graduates with internship/related training can be considered (if you want junior level)
Main Duties
Prepare costing and quotations for office furniture (tables, chairs, workstations, partitions, cabinets etc.)
Check measurements and quantities based on drawings or site info
Collect and compare prices from suppliers (furniture, materials, installation)
Help to handle variation / changes in cost when customer changes design or quantity
Assist in basic project costing report and support sales / project team
Skills Required
Good in numbers and calculation
Careful and detail-minded
Able to use Microsoft Excel & Word
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or similar is an added advantage
Good communication and able to work with sales, designer and project team
Honest, responsible and able to meet deadlines
