ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, managing tax compliance activities, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
Guide, supervise and review work prepared by junior accounting and payroll staff, including journal     entries, reconciliations, financial reports, payroll calculation and statutory deduction ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies, accounting standards and statutory regulations.
Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance and     provide variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. Prepare and submit tax returns in a timely manner.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits. Provide documentation and explanations for audit inquiries.
Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making.- Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Monitor and control expenses to align with budgetary constraints. Identify cost-saving opportunities.
Recommend and implement improvements to financial systems and processes. Streamline accounting procedures to enhance efficiency.
Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations. Ensure adherence to     International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information.
Requirements: 
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA (Certified Public Accountant) is a plus.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Thorough understanding of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations.
Attention to detail, accuracy, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting roles.

3. PAYROLL OFFICER (Kuching (HQ)), Possess at least SPM/Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Human Resource or equivalent; Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply; Processing of employees' monthly payroll
