PROJECT ENGINEER

PROJECT ENGINEER - Kuching
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the main technical advisor on a construction for subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives
Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
Oversee the selection and requisition of materials
Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
Communicate with clients and their representatives and Project Manager including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress
Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors
Prepare reports as required
Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
Requirements:
Candidates with Bachelor Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering background from recognized universities or equivalent
Able to communicate well in English, Malay and Mandrin (written and spoken)
1 – 2 years working experience in related field
Fresh graduate is encourage to apply
Familiar with design software and computer literate
Good interpersonal skills, presentation and project management
Ability to work independently yet co-ordinates and teamwork seamlessly with subordinates
Must be able to work full time at site
