
PLANT OPERATOR CUM LOGISTIC SUPPORT @ Bintulu
Role Description
Responsible for the safe, reliable and efficient operation of plant equipment and machinery,
monitoring production processes, ensuring quality control and performing routine maintenance
to meet operational goals while strictly adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Plant Operations & Monitoring: Operating process plants according to Plant’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), which includes plant start-up, normal operation, shutdown and emergency shutdown procedures.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Performing routine checks, preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Strictly adhering to all safety policies, procedures and regulations.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining accurate operational logs, inventory records and maintenance reports.
Material Handling: Tank issuing line-up, heating process, instruments and weighing before commence loading process into road tanker. To participate in ship receiving for heating to jetty, hose connect and disconnection, monitoring hose conditions, pipeline pressure and pipeline patrolling through receiving process.
Logistic: To record driver delivery trip. To be responsible for scheduling deliveries and safe journey management and as route planning and Brunei entry permits are available.
Qualifications:
High School Min SPM or equivalent.
Must be able to read, write and speak English at a level that will permit the employee to accurately understand and communicate information to safely and efficiently perform the job duties.
Problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Commitment to safety and adherence to regulations.
Must possess a valid driving license.
Proven ability to work in a team environment and perform effectively without close supervision.
Must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail required.
Requires standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, twisting, climbing stairs and ladders and entering plant equipment to access, inspect or collect data on plant equipment.
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment and/or out-doors work environment.
Out-doors environments at generating plant locations include working at heights.
Ability to work to work on shift rotations and cover call-outs as required.
Ability to work longer hours and during weekend or festive seasons, if required
Take, record and analyse readings of various electrical and mechanical meters, data and performance
Performs other duties as assigned
