
ACCOUNTANT - Kuching, Sarawak
Job Responsibilities:
Manage full set of accounts, including monthly closing, reconciliation and financial reporting;
Handle budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management to support business growth;
Prepare accurate financial statements and provide insights to the management on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of business;
Liaise with bankers, external auditors, tax agents, company secretary and local authorities;
Maintain accurate financial records and accounts in compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations;
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and preparing tax returns.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Accounting/Finance or professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CPA);
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction industry;
Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Excel and Power Point;
Possess knowledge in bank facilities such as overdraft, term loan, trade facilities, bank guarantees and loan documentation process;
Possess knowledge in construction contracts, project claims, retention sum, variation orders and project cost tracking is an added advantage;
Positive attitude, strong attention to detail and analytical skills;
