Job Description
Assisting Project/Construction Manager on site management and construction works
Assisting Project/Construction Manager on other task necessary for the works
Supervising and coordinating the day-to-day activities on construction sites ensuring adherence to project plans, budgets, and safety protocols
Conducting site inspections, monitoring progress, and identifying and resolving any issues that arise
Liaising with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Preparing and reviewing technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports
Providing technical guidance and support to the construction team
Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices
Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
At least 3 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar construction management role
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety standards
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents
Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools
Demonstrated experience in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Sarawak
