MECHANICAL ENGINEER

MECHANICAL ENGINEER 
Can be based in Sibu, Bintulu, Mukah/ Sarawak region 
Office HQ is located at 15 1/2 miles, Kuching Outer Ring Rd, 94300 Kota Samarahan, Sarawak 
Job Scope: 
Oversees and supports mechanical engineering works, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant delivery from design to commissioning by ensuring designs comply with industry standards. 
Prepare, review and control engineering designs and drawings :- 
1 Layout drawings 
2 P&IDs 
3 GA Drawings 
4 Fabrication and installation drawings 
Site visits to verify installation against approved drawings, constructability and performance verification. 
Assist in final documentation and handover to mill operations. 
Develop and implement QAQC plans, ITPs, and inspection checklist for mechanical system and work procedure. 
Review and manage :- 
1 Materials submittals 
2 Method statement 
3 Welding procedures (WPS/PQR) 
4 Vendor and fabrication drawings. 
Manage NCRs, root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions and quality records. 
Maintain QAQC documentation for audits, statutory submission, and project close-out. 
Coordinate with operation site teams and contractors on mechanical works and quality issues. 
Provide engineering input for project planning, cost control, and procurement 
Act as technical representative during site visit, inspection, testing and commissioning.
