
SENIOR HR EXECUTIVE
Key Responsibilities:
People Strategy: Lead recruitment, orientation, and talent retention strategies
Compliance & Advocacy: Serve as our internal expert on the Sarawak Labour Ordinance and Employment Act, ensuring Aki Media Sdn Bhd meets all legal and social obligations.
Growth & Development: Curate in-house and external training systems to bridge skills gaps and drive professional progression for our architects and staff.
Operational Excellence: Oversee performance appraisals, grievances, and monthly payroll/statutory reporting (EPF, SOCSO, PCB, HRD Corp).
Workforce Liaison: Manage relationships with local authorities (IRB, Labour, Immigration) and handle the lifecycle of foreign worker permits when necessary.
Requirements
Education: Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar role (experience in professional service firms like architecture/ engineering is a bonus).
Knowledge: Mastery of the Sarawak Labour Ordinance, Employment Act & Human Resource practices
Attributes: High integrity, a pleasant personality, and the ability to manage complex interpersonal disputes with strict confidentiality.
