LAB TECHNICIAN

SITE LAB TECHNICIAN

Requirements:
Educational Qualification: Diploma or certificate in civil or construction technology or related field
Work Experience: 3 Years Experience
Required Language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin
Proficiency in operating field testing equipment (Sand cone, weighing balance, oven, etc.)
Ability to understand compaction testing, material properties and follow testing standards (BS, MS, etc.)
Willingness-to-learn attitude towards upskilling will be an added advantage

Responsibilities:
Perform on-site field density tests, compaction test, and moisture content tests on soils and aggregates
Collect and prepare soil, aggregate and material samples for laboratory analysis
Operate and maintain testing equipment like scales, cones, sieves and ovens
Record and document test results accurately for quality assurance purposes
Collaborate with site engineers, supervisors and contractors to schedule and prioritize testing activities
