ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE - GENERAL LEDGER
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and ensure accuracy of general ledger accounts, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
Handle accounts payable activities (including processing cheques, online transfers, and vendor settlements) and ensure timely compliance with statutory obligations.
Manage petty cash operations and reconcile balances with the general ledger.
Perform cash and bank reconciliations, verify transactions, and assist in cash audits.
Maintain fixed asset registers, calculate depreciation, and support periodic physical audits.
Assist in preparing financial reports, VA reports, and annual budgets.
Liaise with inter-departments and external parties to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
Demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills.
Computer literate with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
