QUALITY ASSURANCE AND QUALITY CONTROL (QA/QC) 
Based in Tapang Maong/Serian

Job Description:
Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP).
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, contract specifications, and statutory requirements.
Prepare and control method statements, inspection test plans (ITP), and quality procedures.
Coordinate with consultants and clients on quality-related matters.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for audits.
Conduct site inspections to ensure works meet approved drawings and specifications.
Monitor construction activities such as:
Earthworks
Concrete works
Structural works
Finishing works
Perform material inspections upon delivery to site.
Ensure all testing (cube test, soil compaction, etc.) is conducted as required.
Identify non-conformance (NCR) and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Prepare and submit:
Inspection Request (IR)
Method Statement
ITP
Test reports
NCR reports
Maintain quality records and as-built documentation.
Prepare weekly/monthly QA/QC reports.
Conduct toolbox talks and quality briefings.
Provide guidance to site staff on quality standards.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
Participate in internal and external quality audits.
Recommend continuous improvement measures to enhance construction quality

Job Requirements 
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Material, Chemical) or related fields.
Possess at least 2–5 years of relevant QA/QC experience.
Knowledge in ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), GMP, HACCP (for food), and industry-specific standards (e.g., API for Oil & Gas).
Familiarity with Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Root Cause Analysis, 8D reporting, non-conformance reports (NCR), and SPC (Statistical Process Control).
Knowledge of construction materials and testing methods (concrete, soil, steel, finishing materials).
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Familiarity with local authority regulations and construction codes.
Willingness to work on construction sites and extended hours if required.
