LAND SURVEYOR

LAND SURVEYOR - Based in Samalaju/Serian

Job Description:
Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys using surveying instruments and equipment.
Perform setting out of building lines, levels, road alignments, and structural positions in accordance with approved drawings.
Verify and monitor site levels, coordinates, and dimensions during construction.
Prepare and update survey drawings, sketches, and reports.
Ensure accuracy of survey data and report discrepancies to the project team.
Assist in checking as-built measurements and prepare as-built drawings.
Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and site supervisors on survey-related matters.
Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment such as total station, GPS, and levels.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
Keep proper records of survey data and site measurements

Job Requirements 
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience as a Land Surveyor on construction or infrastructure projects
Experience with boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and setting-out works
Familiarity with local land laws, regulations, and surveying standards
Proficiency in surveying instruments such as Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and Theodolite
Ability to read and interpret drawings, maps, and legal documents
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other surveying software
Strong understanding of coordinate systems and measurements
High accuracy and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in site conditions
Good communication and reporting skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Team-oriented with a professional attitude
