QUANTITY SURVEYOR

QUANTITY SURVEYOR - Sarawak 
Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Survey
Minimum 3 years working experience in a construction firm is an advantage
Excellent knowledge of construction industry, technology, methodology, management and contract. 
Excellent and meticulous in taking off quantities and pricing. 
Excellent problem-solving skills and methodical way of thinking. 
Good at listening, following instructions, communication and negotiating skills.
Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
Well verse in JKR and PAM form of contract, Uniform Building by Laws, Sarawak Building Ordinance, Local Authorities Requirements and understand the implications of Health and Safety Regulations.
Well organised, able to work independently and able to meet deadlines. 
Computer literate in Microsoft Project, Primavera, Excel, Words, Power Point, AutoCad and BIM software.

Job Duties:
To check, prepare, coordinate, price, compile and to complete Project Tender Document Submission. 
To check and ensure that all relevant documents submitted to Clients and Consultants from the office are fully substantiated, accurate, and in accordance with the Contract Agreement. 
To coordinate, check, verify and evaluate all relevant documents for the Interim Progress Claims and Interim Payment Certificates, inclusive of documents from Consultants, Sub-Contractors and Suppliers. 
To initiate and conduct joint inspection for valuation of work done with external and internal stakeholders, as and when necessary. 
To check, verify and evaluate all Variations Orders (VO) and Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
