Shop Assistant cum Admin is responsible for daily shop operations, customer service, and basic administrative duties. This role requires a friendly, organized, and responsible individual who can handle both front-line retail tasks and office support.
Key Responsibilities
- Shop / Retail Duties
- Greet and assist customers in a polite and professional manner
- Handle sales transactions and operate the cash register/POS system
- Arrange, stock, and display products neatly
- Monitor stock levels and assist in stock counting
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the shop
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and basic complaints
Administrative Duties
- Prepare simple reports (sales, attendance, stock)
- Manage invoices, receipts, and basic filing
- Answer phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and emails
- Assist in order processing and supplier coordination
- Data entry and record-keeping
- Support management with ad-hoc administrative tasks
Requirements
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, WhatsApp)
- Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Melayu & Chinese (spoken & written)
- Responsible, honest, and well-organized, initiative.
- Able to multitask and work independently
- Prior retail or admin experience is an advantage
