To ensure timely and accurate completion of management reports, financial statements, income tax computations and preparation of statutory financial statements.
Preparation of budgets, forecast and variance analysis.
Responsible for company tax planning and legal matters.
Liaise with auditors, authority department, company secretary and other regulatory/third parties to ensure compliance with all matters relating to audit, tax and legal requirements.
Cashflow management and control.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
To initiate business process improvement, review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
Communicate with Manager and/or Director on work status and client issues that arise.
Job Requirements:
At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting discipline and/or Professional Accountancy Qualifications
ACCA/ CIMA)/ MIA Membership.
Minimum 5 - 8 years accounting experience, including 3 years in an executive / managerial role. Candidates with less experience may be considered for a junior role.
Working knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards and Malaysian Income Tax Legislation would be an added advantage.
Experience in using MYOB / Auto Count Accounting Software.
Experience in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word or WPS and Adobe Acrobat.
Excellent communication and report writing skills.
Language proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese.
