Requirements & Key Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent with minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience; or
- Diploma in Quantity Surveying with minimum 8 years’ relevant working experience.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in:
- Tender preparation
- Taking-off quantities
- Bill of Quantities (BQ)
- Cost build-up and pricing with acceptable pace of work
- Capable of evaluating:
- Progress claims
- Site measurements
- Variation Orders (VO)
- Final accounts
- Possess an up-to-date costing database for unit rates of works and materials.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrates initiative, responsibility, and ability to work with a sense of urgency.
- Must possess own transport.
- Willing to travel within Sarawak when required.
