SENIOR ENGINEER /COORDINATOR
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution, registered with BEM.
- Preferable with 7 year(s) or more work experience in civil and structural engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
- Proficient in structural analysis software and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- JOB DESCRIPTION:
- To perform tasks such as design conceptualization, tender documentation, detail designs and tender evaluation, design checking, process and verification of payment certificates, site supervision and handing over of projects.
- To coordinate and monitor project activities at design and construction stages to ensure its objectives are being met.
- To plan for project needs including implementation schedule, evaluation of options and requests for resources, when necessary.
- To attend/conduct project progress meetings and other relevant meetings on behalf of the company.
- To lead and mentor subordinate engineers in project design team.
- To check design works and drawings prepared by engineers in the project design team.
- To carry out other duties as may be periodically required by the company.
