SALES DELIVERY DRIVER - PETROS (LOCATION: KUCHING)
Responsibilities of the Position:
- To adhere to ALL policies set forth by the Company and its Clients.
- To ensure the cylinders on the lorry are safe and secured.
- To ensure the quantity of cylinders on the lorry tally with the sales and delivery record.
- To ensure payment is made and captured in the system for every cylinders delivered.
- To be responsible for the cleanliness of vehicles assigned.
- To be responsible for self-cleanliness and representation whilst at work.
- To be responsible for maintenance of vehicle – timely reporting of faults and defects.
- To be responsible for safe and mindful use of company’s assets and vehicles assigned.
- To ensure that the Daily Lorry Checks are conducted daily before and after trips.
- To report any incidents and near misses immediately.
- To attend all trainings sessions.
- To ensure no use of alcohol and drugs while working.
- Strictly NO Smoking in lorry Cabin or while doing work.
- Be Courteous and respect customers and colleagues.
- Only take and abide instructions from office.
- To adhere to all Driver Working Hours, Driver Working Hours, Rest Hours Policies and all Journey Management Policies.
- To ensure strictly NO USE of any handphone and subject yourself to distraction in cabin.
- To ensure you are fit to work daily.
- To ensure driving is conducted in accordance to required performance parameters (HA/HB/SV) and also refrain from being fatigued and distracted.
- Other duties may be required by management from time to time.
Required Qualifications/Experiences:
- Must have minimum 3 years of rigid driver experience(preferably with class E license)
- Able to drive lorry with manual gear.
- Have a safe driving history, with no major traffic summonses within the 3 years.
- Basic knowledge of truck maintenance.
- Having a clean driving record with no criminal case or blacklisted record.
- Physically fit and no critical illnesses and pass background drug testing required and medical check-up according to transportation regulations.
- Willing to work on weekend and public holiday when required.
- Able to work independently and also as a team member.
