FOOD PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR (Kuching)

• Qualification: Diploma / Degree
• Salary: RM1,800 – RM2,200 (Based on experience & performance)

Responsibilities (Job Duties)

Production Management

• Plan daily production operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Plan, organize, and execute daily production schedules.
• Ensure all batches are produced accurately, on time, and according to SOP.
• Supervise product mixing, weighing, filling, packing, and labeling processes.
• Monitor production performance and ensure targets are met.
• Quality & Food Safety Compliance
• Ensure all products meet company standards for quality, hygiene, and safety.
• Review and verify batch records, logs, and production documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, MESTI, and Halal standards.
• Identify quality issues and take corrective actions immediately.

Inventory & Raw Material Control

• Monitor raw material levels and report replenishment needs.
• Coordinate with warehouse to ensure sufficient stock for daily production.
• Prevent material wastage and ensure proper usage according to SOP.

Logistics Coordination

• Plan and arrange daily orders.
• Ensure products are prepared on time for delivery.
• Coordinate with warehouse team for stock arrangement and loading accuracy.
• Team Supervision & Training
• Lead, guide, and support production staff.
• Train new workers on SOP, hygiene, quality, and safety.
• Ensure discipline, punctuality, and compliance within the production team.
• Factory Hygiene & Safety Monitoring
• Maintain cleanliness of production areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed (PPE, sanitizers, safe handling).

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Processing, or related field.
• Experience in food production is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Able to plan production flow and manage staff.
• Knowledge of GMP, MESTI, and Halal requirements.
• Computer literate (Excel, Word, basic reporting).
• Male Muslim preferred.
• Valid D driving license.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

• Handle production mixing, weighing raw materials, filling, packing, and labelling.
• Report production issues to the supervisor.
• Quality & Food Safety Support
• Ensure products meet basic hygiene and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate batch records and simple documentation.
• Follow GMP, MESTI, Halal requirements.
• Logistics & Delivery Support
• Assist in loading and unloading goods.
• Support warehouse tasks.
• Occasionally follow delivery trips when needed.
• Hygiene & Factory Maintenance
• Clean production area, tools, and equipment daily.
• Follow safety SOPs (PPE, sanitizing, safe handling).
• Team Support
• Work closely with production supervisor and team.
• Assist in training new workers on basic SOPs.
• Suggest improvements to reduce wastage and increase efficiency.
• Requirements
• SPM / Diploma (food production experience is an advantage).
• Male Muslim preferred.
• Have valid D driving license.
• Physically fit and able to handle lifting tasks.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic communication skills (Malay & simple English).
• Responsible and disciplined.
