PATIENT EDUCATION & SURVIVORSHIP EXECUTIVE - Kuching
Job Summary : The Patient Education & Survivorship Executive is responsible for developing and delivering patient and caregiver education materials, implementing survivorship programs, and evaluating the effectiveness of SCCS support services. The role also supports public education efforts by conducting awareness talks within the community. This position plays a key role in improving patient knowledge, supporting long-term survivors, and enhancing SCCS’s program impact through structured assessments and data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver patient & caregiver education materials and sessions
- Plan and implement survivorship programs, workshops, and events
- Conduct public awareness talks and support SCCS campaigns
- Develop surveys, analyse data, and prepare impact reports
- Manage the Back-to-School Reintegration Program and liaise with schools
- Conduct follow-ups with survivors and families in remission
- Coordinate with healthcare teams and internal departments
- Handle documentation, reporting, and logistics for programs
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Health Sciences, Psychology, Social Work, Education, Communications, or related fields
- Experience in education, community programs, or NGOs is an advantage
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Empathetic, organised, and able to manage multiple programs
- Comfortable working with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Proficient in MS Office, Wordpress, Google Workspace, Canva and relevant design and video
- Willing to travel and work occasional evenings/weekends
