
PROJECT MANAGER - Working location: Kuching
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related construction field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant on-site construction project experience.
Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
Proficient in Microsoft Project and related project management software.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
Willingness to travel as required.
Responsibilities
Oversee overall project coordination and manage the project team to ensure successful project delivery.
Develop and maintain project schedules, including Work Programmes, Look-Ahead Schedules, and Financial S-Curves.
Monitor project progress, budget performance, and resource allocation.
Coordinate effectively with subcontractors, consultants, statutory authorities, superintending officers, and internal construction teams.
Lead and supervise site operations to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Attend and lead project meetings, including monthly coordination meetings and technical discussions when required.
Prepare monthly progress reports and provide solutions to technical and operational issues.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to required quality standards.
